Description

This role will require the successful applicants to work with all breeds of dogs, both big and small.

As the apprentice you will be required to work in all aspects of the salon and the on-site pet shop too!

Duties to include (but not be limited to);

  • washing
  • blow drying
  • nail clipping
  • grooming
  • looking for signs of ill health
  • customer service

  • No specific skills are required as all training will be given.
A level 4/c GCSE or above in maths and English is desirable but not essential. You must be willing to work towards gaining your maths and English Functional Skills qualification if required.
All training provided at the employers premises by the employer and Haddon Training.

Upon successful completion of the Level 2 Dog Grooming apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for full time employment for the right candidate.
Shifts will be 9-4:30, Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday and Monday as your days off.

You will get a 1 hour unpaid lunch break each day.
