About the role:
As an Engineering Manufacturing Apprentice, you'll be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge components. With exposure to a breadth of manufacturing processes including welding, vacuum brazing, and more, you'll delve into the exciting world of manufacturing and engineering, gaining invaluable experience in a variety of essential tasks.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Manual Machining
- Assembly of intricate mechanical and electromechanical parts and components
- Calibrating machinery and perform test routines to ensure they are in working order
- A breadth of manufacturing processes such as welding, vacuum brazing, swaging, potting and many more
- Maintaining Business Information Systems with content where appropriate
- Working in line with company procedures for health and safety
- Learn engineering principles such as lean manufacturing

In order to apply you must have...
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s at Grade 9 to 4 (A* to C) including English and Maths and a STEM subject
- 2 A levels in any subject (or equivalent)
- The right to work in the UK
- Been a UK/EU/EAA resident for the past three years or more prior to starting the course
- Left full time education when the apprenticeship you are applying for is due to start
About the apprenticeship…
Alongside your day role, you will work to complete Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship with a specified external training provider. This will give you the knowledge, training and external approval to do your job effectively. This apprenticeship duration is approximately 4 years in duration.
