Description
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside experienced upholsterers to learn and master modern upholstery techniques
- Participating in the fabrication of upholstered chairs and sofas according to design specifications
- Assisting in the preparation and cutting of upholstery materials such as fabrics and padding.
- Learning how to interpret design plans and patterns for accurate material use
- Gaining practical experience in assembling upholstered furniture components
- Contributing to the finishing process, including attaching covers, cushions, and decorative elements
- Learning to conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards
- Collaborating with the quality control team to address and rectify any identified issues
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines for working with upholstery tools and materials
- Developing an understanding of regulatory and safety requirements in furniture manufacturing
