Description

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside experienced upholsterers to learn and master modern upholstery techniques
  • Participating in the fabrication of upholstered chairs and sofas according to design specifications
  • Assisting in the preparation and cutting of upholstery materials such as fabrics and padding.
  • Learning how to interpret design plans and patterns for accurate material use
  • Gaining practical experience in assembling upholstered furniture components
  • Contributing to the finishing process, including attaching covers, cushions, and decorative elements
  • Learning to conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards
  • Collaborating with the quality control team to address and rectify any identified issues
  • Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines for working with upholstery tools and materials
  • Developing an understanding of regulatory and safety requirements in furniture manufacturing
