Description

As an apprentice you will work on typical Joinery projects, this will be mainly windows and doors. We cover the manufacture, painting, glazing and installation. We also refurbish and repair old joinery. You will need to develop a good level of proficiency with hand tools, power tools and machines so you are able to work with the most appropriate solution given the task at hand. At times we make furniture such as wardrobes, tables and bookcases. The ideal candidate would been good at problem solving and having an eye for quality. If you complete an apprenticeship with us we will have a discussion with you about next steps within our business. We highly recommend that you work towards having a full driving license to allow the best chance of progression.

This ultimately depends on ability and the position is highly skilled. The right candidate could work directly with clients and lead projects. Typically this would take some time but there have been exceptions.
