Description

Arts Council England - Manchester are looking to take on an apprentice in their Learning and Development Team, where you will work closely with the Learning and Development Manager and the Learning and Development Officer to ensure that all training is efficiently commissioned, delivered and evaluated, whilst also supporting the wider HR team.

The main responsibilities across all departments will include;

-General administration, including updating records, maintaining systems and administrative processes

-Dealing with email, phone and chat enquiries, including managing shared email inboxes

-Arranging meetings and events - booking meeting rooms, managing invite lists and distributing agendas and meeting papers

-Minute-taking at meetings

-Budget tracking and raising purchase orders

-Updating intranet pages

-Booking travel and accommodation and diary management

-General administration tasks

-Act as the first point of contact for general learning and development enquiries

-Log information and produce reports from our learning and development systems

-Provide support with finance administration such as tracking budgets and raising Purchase Orders

-Provide support with promoting learning and development opportunities across the organisation

For this role we would particularly welcome applications from school/college leavers to looking to begin their career in the HR/Learning and Development field.

Alongside your daily roles and responsiblities at Arts Council England - Manchester you will be working towards the Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship over the duration of 18 months.

Ongoing training and development with the opportunity to apply for other roles within Arts Council England. Most of our previous apprentices have now secured other roles with us and are still working here.
