Description

Working predominantly in the office offering sales and admin support. Please note, you may occasionally be required to support in the yard.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a can do attitude
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to use their initiative

  • Able to work independently

Duties:
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.?
  • Type and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support to predominately the Sales Department and on occasion support to the Finance Department such as filing, scanning, and organising documents.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including inputting and updating information in various databases and spreadsheets.

  • Assist with managing calendars.?- Handle incoming and outgoing emails.


Skills:

  • Social media platform familiarity such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, knowledge of algorithms would be preferential (but not essential).
  • Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong typing skills with a high level of speed, accuracy and spelling.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and office management practices (this is not essential but would be beneficial, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate).
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Office Package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for data entry.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Basic clerical skills, such as filing, scanning, and record keeping.
  • Proficient in using office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and copiers
  • Full training given, however accurate data entry, familiarity with Excel, ability to multitask and work under pressure will be essential in this role.

Attention to Detail, Good Listening Skills, Ability to Multitask, Time Management

English & Maths GSCE or equivalent qualifications at a pass would be preferable.
You will be required to attend Exeter College one day a week during term time. This will be in order to work towards your Level 2 Customer Service or Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship.

Friendly, outgoing, ability to work both independently and as a team.
