As
a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting
the day-to-day operations of The Big Food Project. You will be responsible for
developing and maintaining effective business systems, creating insightful
management information systems, and supporting various teams across the
organisation. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, eager to learn,
and has a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Salary:
£13.500
Full-time, Apprenticeship and Blackpool based with remote
working possibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management and Analysis
- Develop and maintain business systems in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to manage large datasets from diverse sources
- Model data into meaningful management information systems to support strategic decision-making
- Continuously improve data processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with different teams and functions across the organisation to understand their needs and effect productive change
- Assist in the development, roll-out, monitoring, and continuous improvement of outreach methods
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination
3. Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare ad hoc and regular reports for the management team, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support business operations
- Contribute to the development of business
strategies by providing timely and relevant information
4. General Administration
- Provide administrative support to the Growth
& Change Team as required, including scheduling meetings, making notes to
capture key action points, managing communications, and maintaining files
- Assist in organising events, workshops, and
other initiatives that support the organisation’s mission
- Ensure that all administrative processes are
efficient, effective, and aligned with organisational goals
- Work closely with different teams and
functions across the organisation to understand their needs and effect
