Your role and responsibilities will be defined by your employer, The Kentish Town Day Nursery, which will provide on-the-job training and incorporate 20% off-the-job learning into your workday. You’ll work towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship.

Training is delivered by Realise, The Kentish Town Day Nursery's dedicated provider.

Starting as an Early Years Apprentice, you can advance through various rewarding roles in childcare. With experience and qualifications, you might progress to:

Room Leader: Oversee a specific room in the nursery, leading activities and ensuring children's well-being and development. You'll also mentor team members.

Deputy Manager: Assist the Nursery Manager with daily operations, including staff management, administrative tasks, and maintaining high care standards.

Nursery Manager: Manage the nursery’s overall operation, including strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial management, and leading the team to provide an excellent environment for children's growth.

We conduct safeguarding checks following 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' guidelines. All nursery staff must have a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure. If you lack a valid DBS Update Service subscription, you'll need to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
