Description

Exclusive opportunity has arisen at Saywell Equestrian. Andrew is a top SJ coach and develops many partnerships with horses and riders all over the country. The yard has impressive facilities including a rehab centre with hydro therapy unit.


This position can be for a rider or non rider. Opportunities to attend shows. All general horse care duties required including:-

  • Mucking Out
  • Grooming
  • Lunging
  • Turning out
  • Show Prep

Previous equine experience is necessary to be successful in this application.



You must be willing to work towards L2 Functional Skills in Maths and English if you have not achieved a grade C/4 or above in GCSE.
Alongside the employer Haddon Training supports the educational element of the programme. All training is completed at the employers premises with the employer and Haddon Training.
They are looking for someone who is very committed to working on the yard and working their way up!
For the right candidate, there will be the opportunity to progress on to Level 3 Senior equine groom Apprenticeship or full-time employment.


Plenty of riding available for the right candidate , who must be confident and capable of riding young and green showjumpers.

Accommodation is available on site for those applicants who do not live close to the yard.

There is space for you to bring your own horse into livery for the right candidate

Wage will be dependant on previous experience.
