What will you be doing?

  • In-house & on-site execution of system upgrades and projects including project management and coordination of internal and external resources. This will also include the generation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Completing Life Cycle support for Schneider Electric Industrial Process Automation products, including, but not exclusively, installation, upgrade, maintenance, repair, fault finding, testing etc.
  • Providing 24/7 ‘telephone’ and ‘response to site’ support to customers.
  • Supporting and contributing to Schneider Electric initiatives as appropriate.
  • Liaising with other business areas to provide ongoing engineering support to help facilitate their objectives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Schneider Electric standards and policies including Quality Assurance, Cyber Security, Health Safety & Environmental.

Essential

  • Passion for engineering and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Keen interest in Process & Manufacturing Automation and associated technologies.
  • PC & IT literate together with competence in the use of standard office software packages.
  • Flexibility to travel (at short notice) nationally, internationally & offshore.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service levels and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to retain focus and remain positive during challenging situations.
  • Self-motivated, self-reliant - able to work without direct supervision for most of the time with the ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Interest or knowledge in any of the following industries: Nuclear, Automotive, Food & Beverage, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Defense, Renewable Energy and Utilities.
  • Ability to identify business development opportunities that maximize margins and revenues.
  • Commercial/contractual awareness.
  • Graduated from University within 2 years of the Programme start date.
  • Minimum 2:2 Bachelor's Degree. Desirable - Engineering or STEM Related.

What does the future look like?

After completing the programme, performance pending, you will successfully transition into a permanent position with the team/business you have worked in as a Graduate.


Please Note: This role requires a full UK driver’s license.

The final assessment for this role will be taking place virtually on the 5th of February 2025.
