Description

As a Level 3 Apprentice, you would be employed to work in the nursery across all areas - babies to Pre-school

To work alongside room managers to ensure the day to day care learning and development of children.

Roles would include-

  • Activities for children,
  • Nappy changing and toileting
  • Meal support for children and serving the children,
  • Use of tablet for children's learning and development
  • Recording observations

  • GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
  • Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Monkey Puzzle Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator

• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid

• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered through Monkey Puzzle‘s dedicated training provider, Realise.

Full employment as a qualified EY practitioner and internal promotions for room leaders

Holidays 20 days plus BH after 5 years service an additional day per year of service capped at 25

Uniform is a tabard provided then normal clothes underneath
