Description

Rainbow House Nursery is an established nursery in Walton, with a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 apprentice to join the team.

Duties include;

  • To plan activities for children
  • To ensure the environment is safe
  • To support children's play
  • To assess plan and record
  • To ensure confidentiality

Rainbow House Nursery offers all of its staff T-shirts with the Nursery log. As an Apprentice you will be entitled to 28 days annual leave including bank holidays.

GCSE Maths and English grades 4 are desired but not essential.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Rainbow House Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered through Rainbow House Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise.
