Description

At The Orchard Montessori we offer a full Montessori early years programme in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our setting is situated on farmland in the beautiful South Norfolk countryside. We offer wonderful learning opportunities both inside and outside in our large garden that includes a Forest School area.

Main duties;

  • Will be part of the team from the start
  • Learning the curriculum
  • Help setting up activities
  • Setting up lunch
  • Interacting with children
  • Engaging with children and helping them each day
  • Supporting children with the early years classrooms

  • Maths and English at A-C or 4-9 preferred
  • Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. The Orchard Montessori will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator

• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid

• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered through The Orchard Montessori‘s dedicated training provider, Realise.
