Overview:



We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 



You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete an Network Engineer Level 4 Apprenticeship. 



Salary: Can range from £23,000 - £24,000 per annum. [dependent on experience]



Duties: 





  • Resolve network, hardware and software issues 


  • Set up firewalls to safeguard IT systems, troubleshoot system and network problems 


  • Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults 




Desirable skills:





  • Ability to deal with difficult callers


  • Good analytical and problem solving skills


  • Up-to-date technical knowledge


  • An in-depth understanding of the software and equipment your customers/employees are using


  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills


  • Good accurate records keeping




Personal qualities:





  • Team player


  • Logical thinker




Entry requirements:







  • an A-Level in ICT


  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT


  • OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject


  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)






You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.



If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working week: 





  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
