Daily duties include all general yard duties and animal husbandry for the other small animals there:
- Mucking out/keeping yard tidy
- Filling water buckets / haynets
- Making feeds
- Grooming/ tacking up
- Assisting with lessons and leading
- Some riding available
- Assisting with adults and children with additional needs

Skills Required
Some equine experience is a preference, however we are willing to train anyone who has a great attitude towards learning.
Qualifications Required
A GCSE or equivalent pass in English and maths is beneficial but not essential. If you do not have passes, we will support you in achieving your Functional Skills English and maths qualifications alongside your apprenticeship.
Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

Other Information
There is no accommodation available on site so any potential candidate must be able to make their way reliably to and from the yard each day.
This location is not easily accessible by public transport.

Arabella and her team are looking for 2 apprentices to join her team at Waterstock riding centre, they are predominately a riding school with around 30 horses and ponies, Arabella and her daughter also compete in dressage and show jumping. The ideal candidate will already have good basic equine experience, ideally be interested in learning how to teach riding lessons and be happy to work with children.This position is aimed at 18 and under age group and they can offer the ridden pathway to the right candidate.
