Skills Required
Have good basic equine skills and be confident handling big, fit competition horses .
Qualifications Required
Level 4+ in GCSEs / Level 1+ in Functional Skills desirable but not essential.

Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

A positive attitude and high work ethic with a good sense of humour and desire to work as part of a team.
Prospects
- Progression to Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship
- Possibility of full time employment on completion of your apprenticeship for the right candidate.
Other Information
There is no accommodation available with this position, it is accessible by bus from Leicester, please make sure you are able to get to and from the location daily before applying.
Livery for own horse possible.

This is a live in position, to look after 12 top quality horses alongside 2 other members of staff.

This apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to work for Top Dressage riders at Olympic level.This a NON RIDDEN pathway.Hours 40 per week ( can be less if required) over 5 days to include 1 weekend day, 7.30am start.

Park Farm Riding School - Equine Groom Apprentice
Park Farm Riding School
Park Farm is a small, smartly run riding school for children aged 4-17 years. Monique and Anne are looking for a new equine apprentice to start on 16 hours per week , with room to increase these hours. This will include 1 weekend day and is a 8am start. Wage is dependent on age and is to be discussed with the employer, all applicants must be keen to do their BHS teaching Quals alongside their apprenticeship and be happy to work with children.
