Responsibilities:

This is a great opportunity to work for a growing organisation and to develop your future career. You will be expected to do the following:

  • Log support issues.
  • Know how to troubleshoot technical faults relating hardware/software and provide 1st / 2nd line hardware / software support. 
  • Document system changes.
  • Support and manage Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, and work across Azure-based tools such as Intune, Entra ID, 365 Admin, Exchange online and Purview.
  • Schedule tasks such as backups and software updates.
  • Remote desktop and server support.
  • You will liaise with and work alongside the IT Manager and IT officer.  

Desirable skills:

  • Have a passion for IT.
  • Driving licence (or working towards one).
  • Willing to travel occasionally to provide onsite support at other offices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To be able to prioritise and have effective time management skills.
  • A logical thinker and natural problem solver, technically minded and enthusiastic.
  • Punctual, hardworking and able to demonstrate initiative.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
