Opportunity Details

Its a 16 horse all outdoor stables yard, with 2 outdoor arenas, good hacking and plenty of outside trainers in all disciplines in regular attendance.

Plenty of riding available for the right candidate as well as chance to groom at local and stay away shows.

All general yard duties including :

  • Mucking out / keeping yard tidy
  • Grooming / Tacking up
  • Turning in and out
  • Filling Hay nets / water buckets
  • Feeding

  • Basic equine horse handling

Qualifications Required

If you haven't already achieved grade 4/C in GCSE maths and/ or English, Haddon Training will support you in getting the grade needed to achieve the equine apprenticeship.

Training

All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.

Prospects

Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom and or full time employment for the right candidate.

Other Information

There is no accommodation available with this position , it is on a bus route , please make sure you can get there and back daily before applying.

There is the option to take your own horse, livery costs will incur.
