The Lloyds Banking Group Commercial and Business Banking apprenticeship offers participants the opportunity to study with Kaplan and the CBI while gaining hands-on experience across various banking roles.

Qualifications Required
For the Birmingham, Bristol, and London-based apprenticeships, applicants must be 18 years old on 1st September 2026.
For the Edinburgh-based apprenticeships, applicants must be 18 years old by the end of February 2027.
For the Guernsey and Jersey-based apprenticeships, applicants must either be residents or have been born in Jersey to be eligible. If this is not the case, they will not be considered for the vacancy. They must also be 18 years old on 1st September 2026.
For the Isle of Man-based apprenticeships, applicants must either be residents or have been born in the Isle of Man to be eligible. If this is not the case, they will not be considered for the vacancy. They must also be 18 years old on 1st September 2026.
Applicants must have obtained GCSEs at grades 4–9 in both Maths and English, or National 5 qualifications at grades A–C in both Maths and English.
They should also have achieved (or be predicted to achieve) 3 A Levels at grades BCC or 4 Highers at grades BBCC.
Any offer made will be conditional upon the successful achievement of these qualifications.
Training
Lloyds Banking Group covers both the salary and qualification costs for apprentices. By the end of the programme, participants will have:
- A fully funded Level 6 Financial Services Professional apprenticeship
- A CBI Diploma and Professional Banking Certificate

Other Information
Lloyds Banking Group operates a hybrid working policy, requiring at least two days per week in the office. Apprenticeship schemes may close early, so it's a good idea to apply early to avoid missing out.
