We are looking for a highly motivated Apprentice Early Years Educator, who is enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate about improving outcomes for children from birth to five years.
The duties in the role will include:
Looking after young children from babies to preschool age, supporting children on a variety of different activities, undertaking domestic tasks including cleaning equipment, tidying etc.
Working as part of a team and meeting the needs of all the children we care for.
Develop respectful and warm relationships with all the children by taking part in activities with them appropriate to their age and developmental needs.
Develop positive relationships with parents/ carers, other staff members and other outside agencies

Skills Required
Some knowledge of working or caring for children is preferred, but more importantly you MUST be willing to learn and have a good work ethic with the enthusiasm and dedication to succeed
Ability to work as part of a team and able to work on own initiative
A commitment to quality in all areas, with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm
Qualifications Required
GCSE maths and English or equivalent at a level 1 (grade 3) preferred.
Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate.
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
'¢ Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
'¢ Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
'¢ Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
'¢ Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
