Opportunity Details

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in business administration and customer service within a fast-paced, professional environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day logistics operations, communicating with clients, and ensuring smooth coordination across departments.

As part of this apprenticeship, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification, setting you up for a successful career in logistics, operations, or business support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries regarding domestic and international freight forwarding.

  • Manage customer bookings and quotations for air, ocean, and road shipments.

  • Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and carrier teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

  • Track and monitor shipments, providing accurate updates to customers.

  • Prepare and process essential documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork).

  • Handle service issues, claims, and billing queries professionally and efficiently.

  • Support credit requests and assist with invoice clarification.

  • Maintain accurate customer and shipment records on internal systems.

  • Build strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service and clear communication.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.

  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support wider business operations.

What We’re Looking For
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn about business administration and logistics.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisation and time management abilities.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data or documents.

  • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • A positive attitude, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Entry Requirements
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.

  • Previous experience in an office or customer-facing environment is beneficial but not essential.

Training & Development

You’ll complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, combining on-the-job learning with structured study time. Throughout the programme, you’ll develop essential business, communication, and organisational skills that are highly valued across all industries.

Upon completion, you’ll be well-positioned for career progression into roles such as Customer Service Executive, Logistics Coordinator, Office Administrator, or Operations Assistant.
