- Piccadilly Line Upgrade (civil infrastructure upgrades and project engineering)
- Elephant & Castle redevelopment (interface with redevelopment and new LU station entrance)
- Infrastructure Protection (ensuring external works do not damage TfL assets)
- Asset Engineers (track, drainage, geotechnical, tunnel and structural asset management)
- Project Management and Sponsorship (delivery of small and large scale transport projects)
Participants are supported by a Supervising Civil Engineer (Sponsor), Placement Manager, Buddy, Lead Scheme Sponsor, and Development Adviser. Sustainability is a core value, and training is provided to promote sustainable design, construction, and maintenance practices.

Qualifications Required
                                                
                                            A minimum of a 2:1 MEng or MSc degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, or on track to achieve this. The academic qualification must meet the requirements for CEng registration with the Institution of Civil Engineers. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the scheme. The role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa scheme.
Training
                                                
                                            Ongoing development is supported through on-the-job practical experience, placements, training, mentoring, and networking. One-to-one guidance is provided throughout the programme by a Supervising Civil Engineer (Sponsor), Placement Manager, Buddy, Lead Scheme Sponsor, and Development Adviser. Training on sustainability is also included.

Prospects
                                                
                                            Within five to eight years, participants are typically eligible to apply for Chartered Engineer status, opening opportunities to become a Senior Engineer, Project Engineer, or Construction Engineer. Further progression could lead to roles such as Team Leader or Project Technical Lead, with responsibility for managing teams and making strategic decisions.

                                            Offers are subject to a satisfactory medical, which may include drugs and alcohol screening, eye test, and hearing test.

Assessment centres for graduates and intern roles will take place from December to January, with both in-person and virtual options (role dependent).
The application process consists of 5 steps, including online assessments to be completed within an allocated time frame.
Applicants should pay close attention to emails and deadlines, noting there is one week to complete online assessments and these tests cannot be re-issued once the deadline passes.
If qualification certificates are already held, copies should be uploaded to the application. If final exams are due or certificates need to be replaced, these must be provided at a later stage.
Only one application for any of the Graduate schemes is allowed per year.
