You will specialise in scoping client engagements by following structured guidelines to create high-quality Statements of Work (SOWs). Over time, you will develop the confidence and capability to lead scoping calls directly with customers, understanding their needs and shaping tailored solutions in collaboration with our delivery teams. This role provides a clear pathway for growth - from structured support to independent client engagement - and will equip you with the technical and consultative skills to thrive in the cyber security industry.p pstrongResponsibilities:strongp ul liFollow prescribed scoping methodologies to create accurate and detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) across cyber security services.li liParticipate in scoping calls with customers, initially shadowing senior consultants and gradually developing to independently lead discussions.li liCollaborate with technical delivery teams to validate scoping accuracy and ensure client expectations are aligned with service capabilities.li liWork closely with the Sales Team to provide structured technical input during the pre-sales process, ensuring opportunities are scoped correctly from the outset.li liSupport the continuous improvement of scoping frameworks and templates, providing feedback to enhance efficiency and accuracy.li liDevelop technical product and service knowledge to a level that enables clear, confident conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.li liContribute to the handover process to PMO and Delivery teams, ensuring smooth transition from scoped engagement to delivery.li ul pstrongEssential skills:strongp ul liStrong written communication skills with the ability to produce structured, detailed, and accurate documentation (SOWs, proposals).li liAbility to learn and apply structured frameworks and guidelines consistently.li liDeveloping confidence in customer-facing communication - able to listen actively, capture requirements, and play them back clearly.li liAnalytical mindset to break down complex customer requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.li liCollaborative approach to working with Sales, Delivery, and PMO teams.li liEagerness to continuously learn and adapt to new information.li liSelf-motivated and able to work under pressure.li liSelf-starting, energetic and professionalli liStrong verbal reasoningli liCapacity to analyse complex situations.li liManages conflict and challenges in an open and constructive manner.li ul pstrongAdditionally the following experience would be beneficial:strongp ul liFamiliarity with cyber security services (penetration testing, GRC, MDREDR, etc).li liPrevious experience in a customer-facing role or technical documentation role (even at graduateentry level).li liAn interest in progressing toward a consultative presales, solutions architecture or penetration testing career path.li ul pstrongEntry requirements:strongp ul liAn A-Level in ICTli liOR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICTli liOR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subjectli liOR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)li ul pYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
