Description of Opportunity

While working for The Hope and Anchor Pub a Michelin bib gourmand pub AA two rosette, you will be training as a commis chef and working towards gaining your Level 2 commis chef qualification.

Duties will include:

  • Ingredient preparation
  • Cooking meals through various different cooking methods
  • Plating up and presentation of food
  • Taking instruction from senior chefs
  • Cleaning and clearing down work stations
  • Working in a safe manner at all times
  • Portion control

There are no prior qualifications required for this role.
You will be assigned a workplace mentor and a personal tutor from HIT Training who together will assist you in your professional development. You will be taught a variety of practical and theory skills to aid in your development to actively work towards completing your qualification.
