Description

The facilities at Froglands are second to none. There is an equine water treadmill, equine massage equipment, Zamar heat treatment and Claydon walker to name but a few.The farm also boasts a 5 1/2 furlong carpet uphill gallop and both flat and uphill grass gallops, canter ring, outdoor school and lunging pen amongst its acreage.From flat horses through stalls to national hunt horses jumping steeplechase fences and rehabilitation of the injured. Individual treatment and attention to detail is guaranteed at Froglands.

Team Dyson are committed to training both flat and national hunt racehorses, and this apprenticeship offers the chance to also learn some rehabilitation techniques.

General yard duties such as:

- Mucking out

- Riding available for the right candidate

- Training to operate our water treadmill

Some previous experience working with horses, and preferably racehorses.
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Call Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English

Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.

Keen, hardworking, reliable, punctual, calm handling horses
Full time position on completion of diploma.
