I am currently an IT Graduate at Jisc, involved in the research, conception and technical development of new products, including areas such as artificial intelligence, connectivity, cloud, and virtual reality. The highlight of my career so far has to be presenting at DigiFest – we did our technology showcase and celebration to over 1000 people!
I really enjoy my role, but I would say my biggest challenge to far has been adapting to a professional environment after leaving education, but I have had lots of support along the way!
If I had one piece of advice to anyone looking at starting their career journey, it would be that a rotational graduate scheme gives you the perfect opportunity to experience different technology careers, and understand what it is you really love doing!
