All General Yard Duties to Include :
- Mucking out
- Turning out/bringing in
- Tack cleaning
- Tacking up
- Feeding / filling haynets and waterbuckets
- Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
- Bathing
- Rug changing
- Riding possible for the right candidate
- Helping with in house shows
- Communicate with liveries
- First aid
- Exercising horses from the ground (lunging and long reining)
- Holding for vet/farrier/dentist/physio

- No previous qualifications required
Training you'll get
- You will be working towards the Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship qualification, and all training will be provided on site during your paid working hours.
Your day-to-day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in-person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Future prospects
- Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom and or possibility of full time employment
