At Alderbury Bungalow, we support five individuals in their home with 24-hour care, 7 days a week. Our team provides person-centred support with day-to-day living—everything from personal care to helping people enjoy life in the community, such as coffee trips, shopping, local walks and weekly activities.
Set in a quiet part of Alderbury village, Alderbury Bungalow is a warm, supportive environment where the people we support have individual and sometimes complex needs. We’re looking for kind, patient and reliable Support Workers who bring compassion, empathy and respect to every interaction—and who genuinely want to make a difference.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting individuals with personal care and daily routines in a dignified, respectful way
- Encouraging independence, choice and control
- Supporting people to access the community and maintain relationships
- Following support plans and risk assessments, and keeping clear, accurate records
- Working as part of a team to provide consistent, high-quality support across the week
What we’re looking for
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine commitment to person-centred care
- Someone who is outgoing, respectful and dependable
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Experience in care is helpful, but not essential—we provide training and ongoing support
Driving
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential, as there is public transport available six days a week.
