With headquarters in Droylsden, Greater Manchester, Rodo is a family business that after nearly 100 years is into its fourth generation, and the family’s philosophy that good relationships and good business go hand in hand, remains at the heart of everything we do.p pWe are seeking an IT Technician Apprentice to join our IT team in our Headquarters in Droylsden, Greater Manchester.p pstrongResponsibilities:strongp ul liFixing 1st line problems or escalating to the relevant personli liReceiving and logging faults receiving and logging requestsli liAsset tagging and maintaining the asset registerli liBasic Active Directory administration password resets, access requestsli liBuilding PCs and installing software ready for deploymentli liUpdate users devicesli liInvolved in projects outside of day to day running of the IT departmentli liStaying up to date regarding the latest IT developments, including new operating systems and applicationsli liAssisting with routine tasks, such as monitoring server security, software and anti-virus updatesli ul pstrongDesirable skills:strongp ul liA interest in ITli liA willingness to learnli liEagerness the ability to show initiativeli ul divstrongEntry requirements:strongdiv ul li3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subjectli liGCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above)li liProspective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subjectli ul divYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
