Advanced IT skills are not required, as these will be taught.p pThe role also offers the opportunity to get involved in project work, application specialism and training, so is a fantastic opportunity.p pstrongResponsibilities:strongp ul liFirst point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software problems, providing excellent support via phone, email and in-personli liMonitoring tickets efficiently through an online ticketing system, responding to support requests, and ensuring staff are kept up-to-date with status updatesli liMaintain high levels of incident ownership through the incident lifecycle to provide a satisfactory resolutionli liSetting up user accounts, laptops, and smart phones for new starters joining the firmli liPreparing meeting rooms for Teams and Zoom calls, and presentationsli liArranging for home working equipment to be dispatched or collected from employee’s homesli liInvolvement within training processes for new starters, ensuring they are confident with the applicationssoftware they are usingli liResolving hardware and software issues relating to mobile devices as well as resolving hardware issues relating to PCs, monitors, phones, keyboards and mice, speechmikes and webcamsli ul pstrongDesirable skills:strongp ul liYou will need to be keen to learn, be bright and enjoy providing high levels of customer service, developing a good rapport with our usersli liAble to work well under pressure and ability to meet deadlinesli liExcellent attention to detailli liAble to manage own workload and show initiativeli liFlexible in approach to workli liPersonable, polite and professionalli liEager to find somebody able to learn and work hard for the teamli ul pstrongEntry requirements:strongp ul li3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subjectli liGCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above)li liProspective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subjectli ul pYou may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
