Description

Salary - £18K- 22k per annum

  • Raise sales invoices (AR)
  • Process purchase invoices and POs (AP)
  • Maintain AR & AP inboxes
  • Set up bi-monthly payment runs
  • Reconcile bank account transactions
  • Assist with credit control
  • Process credit card requests from business
  • Maintain and file finance documents
  • Process employee expense claims
  • Manage petty cash
  • Any other ad hoc tasks at the appropriate level as requested by the Group Financial Controller from time to time

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, checking work before submission
  • Well organised, with good time management skills
  • Ability to build productive relationships with other team members, departments and customers / suppliers
  • Experience using Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and mathematics
    OR
  • significant work experience

As an Accounting Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Professional Accountancy Taxation Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the AAT certificate level professional qualification.

The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
