You could do a degree in social and human sciences, social work or education. You'll usually need 2 to 3 A-Levels, or equivalent.

With experience and training you could become a team leader, senior education welfare officer or a head of service. You could also train for a career in social services, the probation service, youth work or pastoral care.
Residential support workers look after the physical and mental wellbeing of children or vulnerable adults in care.
Drug and alcohol workers help people tackle their drug, alcohol or substance misuse problems.
Family support workers help and advise families with long or short-term difficulties.
Further education (FE) lecturers teach adults, students and apprentices on academic and work-related courses
Montessori teachers help very young children to grow in confidence, and learn at their own pace.
EFL teachers help students learn or improve their English in the UK and abroad.
At Little Angels, apprentices play a crucial part in supporting delivery of welfare and care for all our children. Supported by a suitably qualified Early Years Educator, you will interact and work with the children on a day to day basis, supporting the planning and delivery of play activities.
