Friendly showjumping yard based in Oxfordshire.

General yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Tack cleaning
  • Clipping/plaiting/bathing/trimming
  • Exercising horses
  • Field duties
  • Riding dependent on ability
  • Rug changes
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
  • Long-reining
  • Lunging
  • Attending local shows and competitions, sometimes with the need to stay away from home.

Some previous experience with horses.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training
