Description

Modern indoor yard with 17 stables and great facilities. 5 day week to include weekends. 7.30am - 5.30pm including breaks and lunch.

General yard duties to include:

  • Mucking out
  • Bringing in/turning out
  • Making feeds
  • Filling hay nets
  • Lunging
  • Paddock and yard maintenance
  • Putting horses on/off the walker
  • Tack cleaning
  • Riding (depending on experience)
  • Trimming/clipping/pulling/prepping horses for competition
  • Travelling to BS & FEI competitions
  • Liaising with clients

Unfortunately, if you do not have enough experience with horses, we will not be able to put you forward for this role.

Some previous experience with horses is essential.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Hard working, good with horses, calm, friendly, happy and willing to work outside in all weathers.

Full time position on completion of diploma.

Accommodation is not really available, but could be sorted for the right applicant. Own horse again for the right applicant.
