Description

There will be plenty of opportunity to groom away at competitions and ride.

All general yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Feeding
  • Plaiting/clipping/pulling/turning out for competitions
  • Lunging
  • Riding - both hacking and possibly schooling based on ability.
  • Grooming away at competitions
  • Tack cleaning

This is an apprenticeship position for those aged 16-23.

Some previous experience with horses is essential. If you do not have the relevant experience, we will not be able to put you forward for the position.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, hard working, reliable, punctual, enthusiastic, friendly, calm and confident around horses.
Full time position on completion of diploma.
Live in position, with space to bring your own horse for the right candidate.
