Description

The right candidate will be fit, strong and healthy, and need not be experienced but must be committed, reliable, hardworking and prepared to learn from existing experienced staff.

The ideal candidate will be a non-smoker and must have a full clean driving licence.

There is no accommodation available at present, but good wages offered and an opportunity to make the position permanent in due course.

Full time position Monday to Friday with additional hours at busy times, such as foaling. There will be occasional weekend work.

Duties to include all stable duties for mares and foals, young stock and resting racehorses together will all of types of ground maintenance.

Some previous experience with horses is essential.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, fit, strong, committed, reliable, punctual, hardworking, willing to learn.
Full time position on completion of diploma.
No accommodation available, and no space for your own horse.
