Description
A new position has arisen at the Abergavenny Arms in Rodmell to work within their kitchen and front of house team as a hospitality apprentice. This is a great opportunity to learn both aspects of the buisness both front and back of house.You will be trained in all departments, where you will learn all aspects of a busy service and the environment.Your duties will include:How to prepare and serve all items on the menu including cooked and cold dishesWashing up, . Ensuring the kitchen is tidy at all times, surfaces are cleared and washed down after each shift. Assisting in ensuring orders are met in a timely manner Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, maintained and put away after useGreeting customers and Taking orders Serving customers at the bar and tablesCash Handling and credit card payments General cleaning duties both in the service area and kitchen and COSHH.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

You must be very reliable and have a good level of common sense. Be polite and friendly, listen and action instructions from peers, be keen to learn and have good organisational skills and be enthusiastic.
Intermediate Diploma in Hospitality Services.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Hospitality Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.
