Detailed Job Description

Customer Support Apprentice will be responsible for supporting customers in the delivery of NCFE and CACHE qualifications, in particular the administration aspect of a customer’s needs. They work both individually and as part of a wider department to tight deadlines, to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain excellent working relationships and to proactively identify and act upon business and sales opportunities.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

The Company is looking for candidates with 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above.

Skills required

Excellent telephone manner

Experience of working within a customer service role, ideally including telephone and email service

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling

Demonstrable skills with MS Office or similar IT systems as well as non-standard systems and databases

Personal Qualities

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently

Ability to develop and maintain working relationships, with a range of colleagues and customers

Ability to identify and act upon business opportunities in a sales through service environment

Ability to self-motivate and manage a busy workload to challenging deadlines
