Description

Whitesmore Neighbourhood Nursery in Birmingham are seeking a Nursery Apprentice to join their team to study Level 3 Childcare. Some of the duties you will undertake will include: •Supervise children’s play and learning activities •Support children’s hygiene routines •Assist at meal times and with feeding •Contribute to planned programmes of activities •Liaise with parents and carers •Follow Health and Safety at all timesApprenticeship Highlights•You will gain a nationally recognised qualification in an Advanced Diploma in in Children’s and Young Person’s Workforce.•As part of your Apprenticeship you will learn how to:•Organise activities calendars•Ensure all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner •You will receive onsite training with an award winning training provider•Learn life skills•To maintain high standards throughout the nursery, implementing all policies and procedures at all times.As an Apprentice you will be included on a Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Early YearsEducator Level 3Suitable for anyone working within Early Years settings whose responsibilities extend across a widerange of activities. The qualification ensures the development of knowledge and skills relating to earlylearning and childcare.
•We are looking for someone who is kind with a positive attitude and enthusiastic. •You will be punctual, tidy and polite. •Enthusiastic about working with children.motivated, is a keen learner and able to use own initiative.
On completion of the Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce, you may be offered a permanent position with the nursery and progression through the nursery. Wage will increase after probationary period ends.
