Detailed Job Description

  • To be confident with statistical data and numerical skills
  • To work with excel spreadsheets which have complicated formats and present statistical data
  • Support to Logistics Project Planner for all project related enquiries/queries
  • Assist Logistics Project Planner with project related activities including updating logistics project plans and risk logs
  • Co-ordinate and execute project deliverables in line with the project plan in the absence of the Logistics Project Planner
  • Ensuring all day to day project tasks are completed within the timelines
  • Assist with the review of relevant records and data capture within the department
  • Carry out other project related duties as required including project meetings
  • To undertake any other duties commensurate within your skill set and role whilst training.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE A-C English and Maths or equivalent.

Skills required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Good numerical skills Self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent communication skills Previous exposure to working with data and numbers
  • To be analytical with the data given
  • To be able to work independently, be proactive and persistent
  • Have good work ethics, be organised and hard working
