An exciting opportunity has become available within a professional and popular Nail and Beauty salon in St Anne’s for an individual who is passionate to work and train as a Beauty Therapist. You will be salon based and attend college one day per week (30 hours inclusive). Previous experience and qualifications would be an advantage, however the employer is willing to train the right person who is hard-working, flexible and committed. Whilst gaining invaluable training and experience, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Salon reception duties (meeting and greeting clients, booking appointments)
- Keeping the salon clean and tidy
- Promoting salon products to clients
- Assisting the qualified therapist with setting up for clients
- Adhering to salon health and safety policies and procedures
- Learning the skills of beauty therapy such as: facials; waxing services; eyebrow/ eyelash treatments; nail services
This opportunity is for either a level 2 or level 3 apprentice.

All applicants must achieve a score of at least Entry Level 3 on the college based online initial assessments in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Beauty Therapy
- Functional Skills Level 1 or Level 2 in Maths and English (unless previously achieved)

- Keen to learn and work within the Beauty sector with an interest in fashion.
- Good personal presentation
A full time position may be available upon completion of apprenticeship.
