Description

Bournbrook Manor has a fantastic Apprenticeship opportunity available for an individual who is interested in a career in the Care industry.

As an Apprentice Care Assistant your duties will include:

• To undertake all duties in relation to the wellbeing of residents, by ensuring the delivery of the highest possible standards of care in a professional manner.

• To ensure residents physical and emotional needs, comfort and dignity are met and maintained and provided appropriate supporting care.

• To provide personal care and attention to each resident, and to follow the activities of daily living in accordance with the plan of care.

• Providing the required assistance with all dietary needs to ensure that residents remain well-nourished and hydrated.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Health & Social Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Adult Care Worker Level 2 Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English. You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role. You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.

A full time position will be available if the right work ethic and commitment is shown throughout the Apprenticeship programme. On successful completion of the Apprenticeship you will receive a nationally recognised qualification in Health & Social Care.
