It all began in 1946 in Devon, England, where a small workshop producing fitted joinery and kitchens began a legacy which is now recognised today as Bater & Co: a high-end designer and manufacturer of furniture, joinery and kitchens

A position has arisen for the right candidate to undertake a business administration apprenticeship within a local joinery company. The role is extremely varied, the successful applicant will be answering the telephone, producing purchase orders and placing orders, checking delivery notes, data entry and producing/updating spreadsheets, along with other general office duties. The applicant will need to have a good telephone manner, attention to detail and good organisational skills, along with a can do attitude.

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
