Exciting opportunity to complete an Apprenticeship while undertaking a wide range of Reception and Waitressing duties for Babcock International Group PLC in delivering a professional and efficient Receptionist service to the Babcock International Group.
Key accountabilities will include, but not be limited to:
Provide a high standard of customer service to all users of the building and all telephone enquiries.
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
Answer and handle or appropriately re-direct all telephone calls in a professional and timely manner.
Greet and register visitors;
ensure that their needs are met, including meeting attendees and hot desk users.
Manage the meeting rooms and hot desk booking system to ensure optimal utilisation.
Ensure that all meeting room requirements are known and meeting rooms are correctly set up and tidy in advance of each meeting.
Book and deliver catering for meetings as required, ensuring high levels of service.
Purchase stationery, office equipment, kitchen consumables at the most cost effect prices.
Deliver stationery to correct department; ensure photocopier/printer supplies are well stocked.
Organise the receipt and despatch of deliveries.
Collect and distribute incoming post.
Frank and despatch outgoing post;
ensure recorded and special deliveries are logged and couriers are booked using agreed process.
General administration tasks such as maintaining telephone lists.
Update calendars and schedule meetings
The above duties are not exhaustive and the Company may require you, from time to time, to carry out further ad hoc duties.
Interaction with Head of Reception and other Reception Staff
Regular contact with Senior Management, Board Members and Chief Executives and external providers.

As an Apprentice you will be included on a Business Administration Qualification.
Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
