Little Rascals Childcare (West Midlands) Ltd is the creation of Debbie Clarke a nursery nurse since 1986. Starting her career with an N.N.E.B, Debbie has since gone on to complete a B.A. Hons in Early Years as well as Early Years Teacher Status and a Level 7 in Management. With her vast experience and knowledge, Debbie is more than qualified to own and run three very successful Early Years settings, each providing the highest quality childcare.Debbie is very much a ’hands on’ owner, regularly seen around all three settings along with Alan, her partner of 20 years. Alan oversees the maintenance of the settings, ensuring that they are safe, secure and well maintained. The couple’s two daughters also work for company as childcare practitioners. GCSE grade A*-C in Maths and English (or equivalent).
You will be a good communicator, with the ability to work well on your own initiative or as part of a team.
Applicants should have a desire to develop and enhance their child care skills whilst working in a supportive nursery setting.This role is ideal for anybody who has a genuine passion for working with children and that is keen to learn and progress in their own professional development.The successful applicant will be a positive role model and enthusiastic individual.
During the Intermediate Apprenticeship in childcare you will have access to excellent training/development opportunities within the role. With the opportunity to progress on the advanced apprenticeship in childcare. This employer is looking to develop an apprentice, with a view of offering a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
All apprentice will have one day per week classroom training for the first 11 weeks to support with underpinning knowledge, whilst also receiving work based support to develop their competency.All learners have a dedicated assessor who will visit them within their setting to support and develop their competency and ongoing development as a nursery practitioner.
