Description
While servicing on the 2 stroke and 4 stroke boats and outboard engines some of the duties you will be completing are; oil changes, diagnostics and checking/changing spark plugs. You will need to order parts when required and diagnose faults. You will also have the opportunity to complete full engine re-builds as well as dismantling engines and storing parts.

- You will need to be practically minded and have the ability to diagnose faults in motors.
- You will need to be able to listen and follow instructions.
- You will need to be IT literate as you will be required to order parts from main dealer web sites.
- 4 GCSE’s at grades A*- D including Maths and English (or equivalent).
- You must achieve a score of at least Level 1 on the online college Initial Assessment’s in English, Maths and IT.
You will work towards completing the Level 2 Apprenticeship in Engineering.
You will need to be confident as you will be in direct contact with customers. You should be trustworthy and presentable.
A full time position may be available at the end of the apprenticeship
This job role may include lifting and handling of heavy items.
