Detailed Job Description

At iwoca, we really love our customers, we want them to have the best possible experience.

  1. Our Customer Support Agent will be responsible for ensuring that no customer is left unattended and that every call is diverted to the appropriate team.
  2. You’ll also be tasked with engaging with our customers and using your sales ability to ensure all customers are knowledgeable about our product.

Location: near Oxford Circus underground station, London.

Hours are 9 am to 6 pm, Mon-Fri. Salary is £16000 - £18000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

  1. Three A-Levels at grades A*-C (or 240 UCAS points) are preferred.
  2. Minimum grade C-A* (or 4-9) in five GCSE, including Maths and English (or Functional Skills level 2 in both).
  3. You will also have good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft packages.
  4. Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.

Skills required

  1. Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision
  2. Previous experience in a call centre is desirable
  3. Strong communication & listening skills with an excellent telephone manner and a passion for delighting customers
  4. Excellent customer service skills
  5. Exceptional time-management and multitasking skills
  6. Proactive, motivated, and metrics-driven

  1. The ability to ”think outside the box” to make suggestions that will help us improve our processes
  2. An ambitious and entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  3. Tech-savvy

Future prospects

A full-time opportunity may be available if the candidate excels in the role. A higher level apprenticeship available following successful completion of the initial apprenticeship, with WhiteHat.
