Description
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- To provide administrative support i.e. filing, scanning, photocopying and typing.
- Accurately input, retrieve and collect data and information using the Departmental and Trust computer systems.
- Deal with face to face and telephone enquiries, convey messages and transfer calls as necessary whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- To be responsible for receiving and processing outgoing mail, incoming and out-going telephone calls in accordance with Trust policies.
- To communicate effectively and liaise with other professionals in a clear, concise and professional manor
- Liaise with other agencies, departments and official bodies to assist in providing a high quality and efficient service; sharing information as appropriate.
- To act as an ambassador for the department and promote its services.Support the Trust by attending career events and fair to promote apprenticeships.
- To undertake statutory training as required in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and the Trust’s policies.
- To ensure that security in the work environment is maintained, locking doors and windows, challenging unknown persons who enter the work area and by wearing the Trust identity badge at all times whilst at work.
- To provide support to events facilitated by HR such as corporate induction and recruitment events.
- To take minutes at meetings, when required.
- To maintain sufficient stocks of stationery and place orders as and when required.Be responsible for reporting faults in office equipment to the appropriate contact points.
- To contribute to driving efficiencies and continuous improvement. To complete the Apprenticeship within the agreed timescales.
- Any other duties as deemed appropriate by senior staff.

- Day 5 Business awareness and change: Business structures and models; External and internal factors that may impact on a business; Goals, objectives and how these align with strategy; change implementation.
- Day 6 Equality and Diversity: Understanding equality and diversity; Benefits of E&D; Legal implications. Apprenticeship Assessment/ Programme Review visit at workplace.

- Day 8 Project development (½ day): Identification of project; Developing business case; Developing project plan.Health and Safety. Legislation requirements.
- Day 9 Project development (½ day): Reviewing project progress; Developing project.Study ½ day. Apprenticeship Assessment/ Programme Review visit at workplace.
- Day 10 Presentation skills: Project review; Presentation skills; Presentation software.
- Day 11 Project presentations. Learner project presentations to employer audience. *Presentation of certificates for unit examination achievements.* Time/duration dependant on cohort group size.
