This is a great opportunity for you to work at a busy children’s Nursery where you will gain a Level 2 qualification in Childcare. You will also gain valuable experience in all aspects of working with young children from 2 - 4 years of age.

Detailed Job Description

Main Duties:

  • Work alongside SENCO and SEND Teaching Assistant.
  • Provide support to individual and groups of children within Nursery with additional needs.
  • Prepare and make resources to support the children.
  • Attend Half Termly Reviews to discuss and share children’s progress.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

  • A-C Maths and English (or equivalent)

Skills required

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Competent ICT skills
  • Good organisational skills

Personal Qualities

  • Good sense of humour
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Confident
