A nursery practitioner plays an important role in assisting in the care and education of young children. You will be planning and organising both fun and educational activities whilst taking care of the children’s personal care requirements.

Duties to include: Planning and supervision of activities like arts and crafts Reading stories and providing activities to develop language skills Feeding and changing of babies and young children Observing children and taking notes to use in reports
Grade C or above in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent)

Applicants should have a desire to develop and enhance their child care skills whilst working in a supportive nursery setting. This role is ideal for anybody who has a genuine passion for working with children and that is keen to learn and progress in their own professional development. The successful applicant will be a positive role model and enthusiastic individual.
During your apprenticeship you will gain nationally recognised qualifications and valuable work-based learning and experience, as well as an apprenticeship wage.
